Annual
national conference on plastic surgery
MUSCAT
— Saif bin Ahmed Al Rawahi, administrative and financial
affairs undersecretary at the Health Ministry will open at
the Health Sciences Institute in Wattayah today the annual
national conference for plastic surgery.
The event is organised by the Health Ministry represented by
the Plastic Surgery Department at Khoulah Hospital.
The conference aims to acquaint doctors and the personnel of
the health sector with the latest developments in the
plastic surgery field.
The two day event discusses 50 working papers, 40 of which
will be presented by lecturers from inside the sultanate.
Dr. Adil Al Najar, from the plastic surgery department at
Khoulah Hospital said working papers will discuss a number
of topics including burns, hand surgeries, microscopic and
cosmetic surgeries and others.
Professors from Australia and the UK will address the event.
